Refine cache / api usage

Due to the rate limit of the server it easily can happen to get blocked by our service due to API requests being sent a lot.

This could be circumvented by using a better apporach to caching data that does not need to be updated frequently and trying to reduce API calls wherever possible.

A side effect would also be a more efficient and maybe (even) faster app usage.
